Metal Gear Solid 4: Gun Of the Patriot

A few days ago…

Now that MGS4: Guns of the Patriot is out and almost everyone should be at home playing the game.

Well me too, in a coop with my little brother, into our 18th hour of the marathon, playing on Naked Snake difficulty… To those who don’t have MGS4 yet, that is the 2nd easiest setting…

We are playing without much help and is finishing it up soon…

And here is my review of the game:

Well what can I say… It’s a Master Piece!!! Kowtow to you Kojima!

It’s like a 12 episode anime, which is short, but will keep you wanting more and continues till the show is over… Even my dad is watching it with us at some junctions. My guess is that some China/HK will record the whole game and then release a DVD collection soon.

About the game play… what should I say… it’s almost flawless and quite interesting, since you can technically not kill anyone, it has a very open gameplay with quite alot of ways to do things.

While the loading is quite annoying; It’s actually a welcomed rest for me an my bro given that other than the installing times, we are stuck on the game…

Our feeling for the game is that it’s good, and i plan to replay it after the MST. Anyway you guys just want to see the score right?

Graphic: 9/10

it’s one of the best I have seen but it’s still not ready as smooth as the trailer I have seen before…
Sound: 10/10
It Dolby surround sound, with the boom boom here and boom boom there, not forgetting bang! Bang! What more could you ask man!

Game Play: 9/10

Love the gameplay and the quirky extras and Easter eggs… but… the control can be improved. it’s just not smooth enough.

Repeatability: 9/10

Although like a movie, unfortunately it’s also short like a movie/OVA… but with alot of things to do… I still want my patriot gun…

Overall: 9.25/10

A good game and great addition to my PS3 collection. It’s like a movie, you just will not leave it halfway… But after finishing… do try unlocking the rest!

Completed the gamed on Naked Snake mode, with a pioneer 42″, and 5.1 surround sound speakers.
