Hmm. The first of the 2 animes from gonzo for the experiment, had finally came to an end…
I watched it streamed from crunchy roll legally… given that gonzo so generously provide it. But I have to say… If this anime is gonzo’s best in story telling then… they better buck up…
Even with a few homage to the original game and etc… The anime itself is extremely predictable… not that it’s wrong or something, given that alot of animes now have very predictable storyline, but it’s just not memorable… and when coupled with the predictable storyline… It gets boring, like that anime ragnarok.
Further more… it’s just not tragic enough… out of like 10+ characters with name, only # died!!! Which is sad even when it’s our standard.
They could have drag on the show abit longer, say 22 episodes, to explain more about the world, develop the charactors and make the fights longer and more exciting, especially for both druagas and the one winged dragon.
However I applaud the writer for trying to keep the series funny with easy to understand jokes, like hearted storytelling and sometimes cute inserts… But like what I said above, the story’s plot is just not thick enough(I like the sudden plot twist at the end thou).
Overall, this is a light-hearted anime, that you can enjoy on a boring Saturday afternoon.
Anime Specs…
Favourite Character: Dark Ghost of the Tower
Man she’s hot and only her character have the deepness… You might consider Neeba to be deep too… but for me he is just not developed properly… cannot feel him.
Most dislike Character: Jil
He has to be the most innocent bugger of a hero… (well there’s others) but he is just plain irritating…
Episode length: 12 episodes
So…
IF you haven’t really watch the show you can watch it now at Crunchyroll or Youtube. It’s available on both their networks. But remember If you like the show, do remember to donate to the people making the anime. The other anime in the experiment is BLASSREITER, currently also on the 12 episode this week.
Oh BTW, the series will continue in next year… the 2nd series.
