At Toys & Comics Convention I

logo

Well we have went to Singapore’s first Toys & Comics Convention and some of our members managed to make a name of themself! But it’s really great! I got to watch the asia premier of Batman: Gotham Knight, the anime version of batman. So cool!

But who made a name of themselves and what else did we see and you missed?

First, who made a name of themselves?

There was a competition, a DDR(Dance Dance Revolution) Competition, organised by timezone to promote their PowerCard.

And guess who won… first!

We have Wei Qin, a third year member, althought he got the consolation prize only… (Well since there is no third). Then,

Nick, yes! Our residential expert for DDR, he got second… and won some powercards. Anyone who wants some of them cheap go find him.

For those who don’t know, Nick is the club’s treasurer. And he can be found in the clubhouse, most of the time.

But the winner is unforunately, is not our club’s member. He is Mr. Andrew, I hope i didn’t get it wrongly. winning with a score of around 2.9 million, winning nick just by 0.1 million. Mr. Andrew is below

Also I made a visit to the local anime studio and school 77 Star’s booth. And they have new things to announce including the new football anime strikers and also the earlier announced Celestial Zone 21.

But sorry no video, 1 poster, then the photo of Enomoto San and his fellow colleagues.

More to come later!
