Dear all,
We have recieved confirmation from SAA that we will be able to volunteer our services to M-con and participate in the competition.
I have asked for the list of times and the number of people they would need on the 18-23 Nov and we will confirm the schedule when term re-opens. Of course, LOs will be provided for the wednesday (whole day), thursday (late morning to afternoon), friday ( late morning to afternoon) and CCA points will be issued.
As this is an important project, please be on your best behaviour and no nonsense behaviour (playing PSP or monkeying around will not be tolelated).
For now, please write your names down if you are volunteering, I expect all plamo members to be involved in this project. Manga students are more than welcome to participate.

So what is M Con…?
M con 2008 is an event to celebrate plastic Model building, including resin and etc. This is the first year of M Con, organised by the M Workshop, in which they have found Startek, official distributor of Tamiya, to be the main sponsor.
The event is also incorporation with the Tamiyah modeling competition 2008, while also showcasing the local modeling community, ranging Gunpla to Realistic Models to figurines.
So when and where is the event?
Well… It from the 19th to the 23th of November 2008, located at Sculpture Square, Contemporary 3-D Art Centre, 155 Middle Road Singapore 188977.
Do I have to pay?
Nope, Admission is free. So do go down and take look… It’s also just a short bus trip from Suntec Convention Hall where the AFA08 is also happening around the same time. So if you’re from foreign land, visiting Singapore for AFA08, you can also go down and take a look at M Con 2008. Especially if Plamo is your cup of tea.
